Durban Virginia Airshow Soars to Success with Spectacular Displays and Family Entertainment

Widely regarded as one of KwaZulu-Natal's premier aviation events, the festival showcased world-class aerobatic performances, freestyle motocross stunts and a variety of family-friendly attractions that kept spectators entertained throughout the day.

Among the highlights were the internationally acclaimed Marksmen Aerobatic Team, whose precision flying captivated crowds, while the Jungle Rush FMX Team wowed audiences with gravity-defying freestyle motocross performances.

Visitors also enjoyed skydiving demonstrations, helicopter displays, pylon racing, interactive activities for children, food vendors and local exhibitors, creating an exciting atmosphere both in the air and on the ground.

Beyond the entertainment, organisers say the event also played an important role in supporting Durban's tourism and local economy by attracting visitors from across South Africa and creating opportunities for accommodation providers, restaurants, transport operators and small businesses.

Virginia Airport Manager Dudu Ntombela said the annual event has become more than just an aviation showcase.
